apply oneself (to something)
When you apply yourself, you try hard to complete something. For example, teachers always tell students that they must apply themselves to their studies.
Examples
If you want to improve your grades, you must apply yourself to your studies.
Good students apply themselves during the whole course, not just before exams.

be oneself
To be oneself means you do things or act naturally. You are in your true state of mind.
Examples
I feel comfortable with my friends. I can always be myself around them.
In a job interview, people know when you’re trying too hard to impress them, so you should just be yourself.

keep to oneself
When you keep to yourself, you do not try to communicate with others. You do not say much about yourself or express your opinions.
Examples
It is difficult to make friends if you keep to yourself all the time.
Francisco like to keep to himself, especially in large groups of people.

not feel like oneself
When you are sick, stressed, or anxious, you do not feel like yourself (or feel yourself). You feel strange.
Examples
I had the flu all week. I’m finally starting to feel like myself.
I think I may be getting sick. I just don’t feel like myself.
