The writing process can be described as a series of steps that a writer follows to produce a written product. The process includes prewriting, drafting, revising, and editing. During the prewriting stage, the writer generates ideas and outlines the work. In the drafting stage, the writer puts ideas into paragraphs. In the revising stage, the writer refines the work by improving clarity and coherence. Finally, in the editing stage, the writer focuses on correcting spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors.
