7. When someone is sad all the time, they may be depressed.

Revised sentence:

When people are sad all the time, they may be depressed.

People who are sad all the time may be depressed.

8. A baby cries when they are hot, cold, or hungry.

Revised sentence:

Babies cry when they are hot, cold, or hungry.
