Basic vocabulary

Reading Numbers

Cardinal numbers. Numbers for counting (1, 2, 3, …).

Very large cardinal numbers. Billion, trillion, quadrillion, and so on.

Ordinal numbers. First, second, third, fourth…

Fractions and decimals. Saying fractions (½, , ) and decimals (0.1,0.01, .75).

Dates. Saying dates (days, months, years)…

Decades. The 10s, 20s, 30s, …

Prices. Saying prices (dollars and cents).

Days and Months
